An entire Jewish family from Hungary was exterminated in 1944.
Only Gabriella survived the Holocaust and returned from the camps.
When she came back, she discovered a box buried by her father, holding the traces of their life.

Today, these objects are integrated into this painting, so that their light continues to shine.

Each of us carries our families story and the responsibility to pass it down.
